529-Plan Qualified Expenses

Some of the common expenses that qualify for 529-Plans include:

  • Tuition and mandatory fees.
  • Required books, supplies and equipment. Computers or peripheral equipment (such as printers). Computer software. Internet access and related services
  • Room and board for the time the beneficiary is enrolled at least half-time in a degree, certificate or other program.
